WHO WE ARE
Situated on the shores of Lafarge Lake in Town Centre Park, Evergreen Cultural Centre exists on the unceded, traditional and ancestral core territory of the kʷikʷəƛ ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) First Nation, which lies within the shared territories of the səli̓lwətaɁɬ təməxʷ (Tsleil-Waututh), Stó:lō Téméxw, qiqéyt (Qayqayt) and sq̓əc̓iy̓aɁɬtəməxʷ (Katzie), xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam) and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish) nations in the region known today as the Tri-Cities.
Described by the City of Coquitlam as the “cultural jewel in Coquitlam’s Town Centre”, Evergreen Cultural Centre is the Tri-Cities premiere venue for live arts events, exhibitions, and experiences.
We offer a thrilling season of performing arts presentations in our Studio Theatre, contemporary art exhibitions in the Art Gallery at Evergreen, and arts education programs in a variety of disciplines. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive and accessible community gathering place and invite visitors to immerse themselves in the magic of live performance and visual art.

OUR STRATEGIC GOALS
In 2020, our staff and Board of Directors completed the work of identifying the strategic goals of the organization. This resulted in establishing the following five key organizational objectives to guide us in our activities:
1. to provide exemplary performing arts
2. to provide exemplary display of visual art
3. to provide and support exemplary arts education
4. to lead the ongoing development of the arts throughout the Tri-Cities
5. to provide exemplary opportunities for our community to volunteer in support of the arts
