We are the visual and performing arts hub of the Tri-Cities.
All roads and trains lead to the Evergreen Cultural Centre… this is turning out to be the hottest place in town!
We are so excited to be kicking off our 21st season. After a stellar 2016-2017 season, staff at the Evergreen are lining things up for another terrific season of entertaining shows and programs. Attend a performance, visit the Art Gallery, participate in a visual or performing arts program and/or be in a show yourself — the Evergreen is the Arts Centre for everyone and for everyone to enjoy. Updates and information can easily be found on our website, through our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds. Remember to also sign up for our membership program, which gives you further discounts and offerings throughout the year.
With that in mind, we have reduced ticket prices on two of our major series: Music; and the new Variety Series (Comedy, Dance and Variety). Also, we are offering new Sampler Packs for these series. Pick a selection of your favorites, and save up to 30% off the single ticket price! And that’s not all: Purchase single tickets at full price to any shows in the Music and Variety series, and receive an e-gift to join us later in the season.
We love to hear what you think, so send us a note and tell us what you liked or would like to see. The Evergreen Cultural Centre is looking forward to another year of interesting possibilities and welcome surprises!

The Evergreen Cultural Centre is a centre for excellence in diverse artistic endeavours, locally treasured, and widely respected.
To be known as the choice cultural destination by providing the community with engaging, quality entertainment, exhibitions, and arts programs in a welcoming environment.
The Evergreen Cultural Centre, a registered charitable organization and not-for-profit society, opened its doors in October 1996 in the new Town Centre in Coquitlam, British Columbia. A shared vision of the City of Coquitlam, the Tri-City arts community, private business and senior government, it is a facility and organization committed to providing excellence in arts and culture.
Evergreen is operated by the Evergreen Cultural Centre Society and governed by a Board of Directors. It is funded by the City of Coquitlam, as well as federal, provincial and foundation sources, box office revenue and corporate sponsorship.
The centre houses a 257-seat, flexible black box theatre and a 1500 square foot public art gallery. The Rehearsal Studio and several art or meeting studios provide an additional 5000 square feet of space for Evergreen’s classes, workshops and rentals while the spacious glassed-in Lobby offers a spectacular view of Lafarge Lake.
The Evergreen Cultural Centre presents a variety of arts programs including professional theatre, dance and music presentations, art exhibitions, arts education programs, and public programs for both children and adults, including arts camps. For young audiences it also produces its own family series and spring break festival.
In addition, the centre is a venue for numerous community-based arts groups providing much needed rehearsal, performance and teaching space. In 2014, over 80,000 visitors came to the Evergreen Cultural Centre to participate in the many offerings throughout the year.
