Drawing from Life in the Art Gallery
Once a month, the Art Gallery at Evergreen is transformed into a drawing studio, complete with drawing boards and an undraped model. Each exhibition provides artists of all skill levels with a unique environment and atmosphere for drawing from a model. Secondary school art students (ages 16 and older) are encouraged to participate in these sessions to support portfolio development.
Please note that these are relaxed and informal sessions and are not guided by an instructor. A great opportunity to brush up on your skills and get into the drawing zone! We can provide boards, paper and pencils, but we highly recommend that you bring your our own drawing supplies to the session. We also suggest bringing a sweater to ensure you are warm and comfortable in the gallery space. Thank you!
Save 50% off the cost of drawing sessions and get other great benefits with the purchase of an Evergreen Cultural Centre Membership.
Prior registration and payment is required. The instructor is unable to take payment.
Cost per Session: $20 | ECC Members: $10
Schedule: All classes begin at 6 pm to 9pm on Wednesdays
