9:00am – 4:00pm (Includes Final Performance in Studio Theatre on Friday, July 28 at 3pm to 4pm)

Aftercare is available after camp from 4pm to 5pm, Monday to Thursday for an additional $10 per day. If you would like to book aftercare, please indicate which day(s) you would like to register your child for.
Refunds are subject to a $25 administration fee. No refunds two weeks prior to workshop. *Discount applied to Camp Cost only.
The Improv Camps for Kids and Teens are a fun, challenging and exciting way to spend your Summer! Students will develop an excellent grasp on the fundamentals of improv and expand on all areas of improv performance – from characters, spontaneous joke-telling and teamwork, to improvised stories, classic improv games and advanced scene work. They are a perfect fit for new and experienced improv students – every student will be pushed to their own next level whether they are a newbie or have been improvising for a few years. Students finish off the week in a super rockin’ final performance on the last day!

These improv classes are taught by Jennifer Pielak – an actor, improviser and singer who has been teaching improv to people of all ages for 8 years. She has trained as a performer in Vancouver and Chicago and has her BA in Psychology and Philosophy from UBC. She works in the local TV & Film Industry, is the Artistic Director of musical improv group Off Key Improv and has experience performing with Second Storey Theatre, the Vancouver TheatreSports Rookie League, Table23 Comedy, the Fictionals Comedy Co. and at the Vancouver International Improv Festival, rEvolver Theatre Festival and the New York Musical Improv Festival. She recently co-wrote the Ovation Award-nominated Connected: The Musical in 2013. Jennifer loves to share her passion for the performing arts with everyone she encounters!
