This season the ensemble will explore, through a number of major works both original and transcribed, musical responses to our planet and life upon it. Full of humour, pathos and great melodies, the season will include collaborations with other artists and ensembles and contributions by local composers.

Then we find inspiration from the rocks and soil on which we live, and the physical monuments that we view with awe. Ferde Grofé’s Grand Canyon Suite and David Maslanka’s Symphony no. 4 will centre this program.
