PUBLIC PERFORMING ARTS PROGRAMS
Led by our knowledgable educators, these public programs are perfect for creative kids of all ages. From acting and improv to dance and movement, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Evergreen! These programs do fill up, so register online to avoid disappointment.

SENIOR'S WEEK: TEA, TOUR, & TEXTILES
JUNE 06, 2023
AGES 50+ | Free to Attend
Enjoy an exhibition tour of Transmissions at the Art Gallery at Evergreen, followed by tea, coffee, and snacks in our lake-side lobby. Then take part in a textile craft-along inspired by the exhibition. Bring your own weaving projects, or join our instructor to learn a new skill in the fibre arts.
CREATING THEATRE: ACTING & IMPROV
FRIDAYS BEGINNING JANUARY 13, 2023

Join this class for an introduction to acting and improv. Learn improv games and techniques, and the tips and tricks of your favourite movie and tv actors. You’ll get to explore character creation, voice, movement, scene acting, and more!
HAND-BUILDING MUGS
MAY 03 + 10, 2023
AGES 18+ | $85
Learn design tricks and hand-building techniques as you create your very own 3D custom mug, followed by guidance in painting and glazing your creation. This class includes a building portion and painting portion, as well as two kiln firings for your project. You will use food-safe materials for a fully functioning piece!

Come join the fun of a structured dance class with a variety of styles! With the base of a ballet class, Intro to Movement also incorporates jazz, and focuses on musicality, proper steps + terminology, and fun choreography!

Are you really interested in dance but don’t know where to start? Teen Dance is the class for you! This class caters to the individuals at all levels, where we focus on learning or relearning the basics, while also being challenged with new choreography, steps, and terminology.
