Event Details

The new monologue from award-winning novelist and former Canadian SLAM champ Brendan McLeod, “Brain” is a heartbreaking, hilarious take on coming of age, mental illness, and consciousness. It maps Brendan’s experiences with obsessive compulsive disorder, from a teenager struggling to understand his obsessions to an adult battling psychosis. Winner of “Best Male Performer” at the 2015 Victoria Fringe and Pick of the Fringe at the 2015 Vancouver Fringe, “Brain” is a nuanced journey through the nature of thought, and an optimistic exploration of the importance of friendship.
