On December 02, join us for a double-bill that will mix the sounds of Mooshy Face and Precipice; two unique, Vancouver-based garage punk bands!

Join us at Evergreen for another Rise Up Session this December! The Rise Up Sessions are a celebration of some of the new directions that performing arts are taking here in BC. Inspired by our 2020 youth engagement events (our Rehearsal Hall and Swing Sessions), this collection of music, poetry, and theatre performances is the second series of events dedicated to amplifying the work of emerging local Creators in diverse fields. These Rise Up Sessions centre diverse ways of being and thinking, as well as the influence that BIPOC, femmes and 2SLGBTQ+ artists have in the arts.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS | MOOSHY FACE
Mooshy Face is the best and only goof-punk band from Sevvy’s garage, Vancouver. Check out their new EP “A Strange Sensation”, available on Bandcamp for free.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS | PRECIPICE
Precipice encompasses a wide range of emotions which weave a mosaic that reflect our experiences of the human condition. With a versatile approach to performance, our songs provide a unique listening experience that evoke feelings of introspection, solidarity, longing, euphoria, despair, and serenity. Our music strives to reclaim the relationship between the spiritual and the natural.

Precipice creates music that is difficult to categorize into a single genre. Our diverse musical backgrounds result in a mixture of progressive, latin, psychedelic rock, heavy metal, jazz, and classical. Precipice is currently in the process of recording their first album, alongside having started writing the second. Check out their Live Stream Set at Little Mountain Studios!

Precipice Members:
Arshaan Mehra – Lead vocals, Electric Guitar
Nadim Woolgar – Background Vocals, Electric Guitar
Tom Lambrou – Drums
Brian Thomson – Bass
