Will Stroet of Will’s Jams is a JUNO-nominated musician, nationally recognized educator and former CBC Kids TV star. His high-energy rock-pop music in English and French is full of witty wordplay and sing-along choruses, inspiring kids to be active, creative, caring and community-minded.

SEARCH FOR THE CHRISTMAS PENGUIN

Molly Wilson

December 08, 2023 | 7PM

Search for the Christmas Penguin is a musical adventure for the whole family as Molly Wilson travels through a magical book to find the true meaning of Christmas. The 60-minute family show is a musical adventure, featuring Wilson’s powerhouse vocals. Along the way she encounters some classic characters including Scrooge, the Little Drummer Boy and Rudolph.

SOMEBODY LOVES YOU, MR. HATCH

Axis Theatre

February 11, 2024 | 3PM

Mr. Hatch leads a predictable and dreary life; he keeps to himself. One Valentine’s Day, he unexpectedly receives a heart-shaped package with an anonymous note that whispers, “somebody loves you,” and everything changes. This heartwarming puppet play examines the effect that kindness can have on a lonely existence. Join washerwomen Betsy, Edna, and Molly as they bring Mr. Hatch’s story to life and help him search for his secret admirer!

THE WILDS

When Wendell discovers that his wife Tilda and their beloved tree have vanished from the backyard, he must venture into the nearby forest to bring them home. Confronted with shifting landscapes, unusual creatures, and a mysterious lurking presence, Wendell soon learns that the key to finding Tilda is to first unlock the mystery of The Wilds. Charming and profoundly touching, this wordless award-winning show features WONDERHEADS’ signature masks, whimsical puppetry, and enchanting music, and moves its audiences to both laughter and tears.

A BIRDY TOLD ME SO

Eight year old Kellie doesn’t feel like she fits in at school until she receives a birthday gift who can talk on their own! Kellie meets Magrau, a chatty confident bird puppet who has a flair for singing, dancing and making people laugh. When Magrau signs Kellie up for the school talent show Kellie is mortified. Audience participation drives the plot as Kellie grows up and learns that failure leads to success through practise and determination.
