Our fan-favourite summer concert series, Music on the Grill, is one of the best nights out Coquitlam has to offer! These perfect summer evenings start with live pre-show music and a delicious, catered BBQ dinner on our portico overlooking Lafarge Lake. Canadian singer-songwriters Rachel Beck and Chris Ronald join us for a fabulous, folk-inspired double bill! Beck’s vocals float across the vivid, harmony-laden, ethereal soundscape for which she has become known, and Ronald draws on his abilities as an accomplished singer, storyteller, and multi-instrumentalist to deliver a captivating show.

COCO JAFRO

Coco Jafro is a melting pot of inspiration that reflects the collective of musicians from different continents, cultures and religions. From North African traditional music to Afro-Latin funk fused with throwback 60’s rhythms. Expressive & improvisational, this electrified fusion band will lead you on an groovy journey from funk to soul, embodying Latin and African beats.

ALEX CUBA

Alex Cuba is a Latin Grammy/Juno winner, singer-songwriter who is not tied to tradition. His musical evolution for years was all about searching for the simplicity and soul in Cuban music – taking apart the complex arrangements, adopting the melodic simplicity of pop music – he’s always creating something fresh, and always getting it just right.
