Dear Loyal Patron,
It’s that time again. As we enjoy the final productions of our Theatre and Indie Series, it is time to launch a brand new season of Theatre!
The six shows in our 2018-19 Theatre Series include three Arts Club offerings: The Piano Teacher, a moving drama about love, loss, music and moving on; the hilarious and innovative Blind Date, in which the central character chooses a “date” for the evening from the audience; and the hit new musical The Circle Game, re-imagining the music of Joni Mitchell in a fun, theatrical format. In addition, the Theatre Series opens with a fascinating look at the life of a dynamic character and witness to history: More Than a President’s Mother: The Lillian Carter Story. Two other shows will be announced in the coming weeks.
And the Indie Series is back with another four intriguing shows from the best of independent theatre, including: Bombay Black, named as one of the 20 Best Productions of 2017 by the Georgia Straight; 2 for Tea with the inventive comedic duo James and Jamesy; Blindside, “an eye-popping storytelling comedy”; and one more to be announced.
Single ticket prices to the Arts Club shows are increasing this year, but we are once again offering the extraordinary Early Bird Subscription rates to our loyal patrons. From now until May 14, get a full Adult season subscription for only $189*, the same price as last year!
And this year, an Early Bird subscription automatically makes you an Evergreen Member, which entitles you to our free Monday Film Series and discounts on single tickets to shows in all our series! We will be revealing the full series later this spring, but take a Leap of Faith with us and enjoy guaranteed entertainment for the whole year.

* Adult price each. Seniors are $153 and students are $69. Please note that we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds. However, since you’ll be seeing a whole show – and a half – for free, we don’t imagine this will be a problem!
