2024 SPRING BREAK ARTS CAMPS

Join us for an exciting, creative week of visual and performing arts activities at Evergreen Cultural Centre! 

This Spring Break, join us for one of our week-long hybrid arts camps, packed with artmaking activities to help kids connect with their creative side.  

Campers will learn a wide range of creative techniques with our knowledgeable educators, visit our latest gallery exhibition and enjoy time at Lafarge Lake to gather inspiration for their visual arts projects before putting their wildest ideas to the test exploring the creative worlds of acting, character design, scriptwriting, and more.

VISUAL ARTS CAMP: CREATIVE JOURNEYS

AGES 6 – 8 | MARCH 18 – 22, 2024

9AM – 4PM DAILY | $285

Join Evergreen Arts Educators Julie and Wendy for a fun-filled day of visual arts. Explore the art gallery and try different mediums like clay, painting, and weaving while learning about Canadian artists. The week will end with a mini art show featuring campers’ artwork from the week.

HYBRID ARTS CAMP: ARTISTS AVENUE

AGES 6 – 8 | MARCH 25 – 28, 2024

9AM – 4PM DAILY | $285

Join Evergreen Arts Educators Tatiana and Kim for a day of visual and performing arts. Spend time exploring the art gallery and trying different mediums like paint, oil pastel, and collage. In the afternoons, head to the rehearsal hall to explore singing, dancing, and acting to prepare a short performance for the end of camp featuring a scenic backdrop created by campers throughout the week. 

RISE & SHINE:  THEATRE CAMP

AGES 10 – 16 | MARCH 25 – 28, 2024

9:30AM – 4:30PM MON-WED, 1:30PM – 8:30PM THURSDAY | $325

Are you preparing for a university drama program or auditioning for film/television and need help with your monologues? Spend the week with professional writers/directors/coaches Mandy Tulloch and Makena Ram for an in-depth journey into the world of monologues and preparing for auditions. We will consider things like which monologues you should choose and why, who are you delivering your monologue to, do you need props, accents, or costumes?

The camp will end with a performance for friends and family on Thursday evening at 7PM in the studio theatre.
